The Story of Mud Creek Coffee
In 2000, Stockbridge, Wisconsin local Julie Parsons realized that her home town didn't have an ideal place to meet friends or business clients during the day. "We had great bars and supperclubs but didn't have a place to get a good cup of coffee." After finding inspiration during a vacation in 2005, Parsons dedicated herself to the idea of revitalizing Stockbridge, and Mud Creek Coffee opened its doors in the summer of 2006.
Mud Creek Coffee strives to be the model for the quintessential "Neighborhood Cafe and Coffee Shop". In doing so, Parsons says "we open our doors and invite people to meet, socialize, and enjoy great food and drinks. With a commitment to our friends and neighbors, we will offer great coffee, food, and community support in order to allow Mud Creek Coffee to flourish and evolve with the desires of our customers."
Krystal Schumacher, another Stockbridge native who is the café co-manager, says, “Mud Creek is a place with a nice atmosphere where people can go to get a great cup of coffee or their favorite espresso drink, meet with friends, work or just relax.”
